Hello! I'm Ashley. I’m 25.
I birthed my first babe, Caden, and simultaneously became a single mother at the ripe age of 18, just days after my high school graduation ceremony in June 2004.
After many long nights and summer classes, I somehow managed to graduate on time (nothing wrong with a little boasting now and then!) with my bachelor's degree in Business Management in May 2008.
Somewhere along the line, I met a red-head named Tyler who would later become my husband. I thought he was a freak (read: when I first met him, we were at a singles Bible study & he was wearing socks & sandals doing what I call a "Jesus dance" (hands in the air, shaking his arse.))
We welcomed another baby boy, Noah, in July 2009, and were married in May 2010.
After many uncontrollable life happenings, I quit my job with the federal government to move our family to Texas, where neither of us had employment.
I can honestly say it was the scariest, most risky decision we have ever made. But, it was so worth it.
I now spend my days chasing my children and he works in industrial construction.
